About Me :)

Hi! I'm Alexa :) I'm a recent graduate of the University of Richmond, where I received by B.A. in History with a minor in German Studies.  I am now a Masters student at Universität Konstanz, where I am studying Modern History (entirely in German!).

My mother hails from Nürnberg, Germany, and so therefore I have dual-citizenship! I have only recently developed a love of my German roots within the last three years. They have been, however, an extremely fulfilling three years from learning the language to immersing myself in the culture. During the summer of 2010 I studied through the University of Vienna in Strobl, Austria, and then in 2011 I studied for a semester at Universität Konstanz in Konstanz, Germany, which I consider the best five months of my life.

Whether you speak German, or your only knowledge of Germany comes from Inglorious Bastards, I hope you find my blog interesting and entertaining.
